About

I’m a lifelong learner but, more importantly, I love teaching others. This isn’t motivated by ego but by seeing others achieve more, become better, and find successes that were once out of reach.

When I’m not helping others hone their craft in software development, I’m trying to learn the skills to share my craft of blacksmithing on YouTube, happily doing my spouse’s bidding, playing RPGs (digital or analog), and occasionally brewing beer. I also hang out with some Steampunk friends and enjoy all things geeky.

Adventures in Software Development has been my outlet for sharing what I learn since 2010. Topics range from .NET and JVM internals to AI tooling, testing philosophy, and the intersection of technology with society.

If something here helps you — or makes you think — that’s the whole point.
